1. Regular word study will begin on Monday. The children will receive a new homework sheet for their word study homework.
2. Reading Logs will be due on Friday, February 3.
3. The Personal Time Line projects are due on Wednesday, February 1. We are excited about them.
4. This week, we worked on identifying triangles, quadrangles (4-sided shapes), pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, and octagons. Your child should be able to tell you about each of those plane figures.
5. Report cards will be issued on Thursday, February 2.
6. Chili's Cashola is Tuesday, January 31 from 4-8 PM.
7. The children are encouraged to donate canned goods this week to support their favorite Super Bowl team. This is a great way to explain the word "contribution" to the children.
